Carmelina Parello

Biography

Born in Saarlouis, Germany, she began painting at a young age, taking her first self-taught steps, dedicating herself passionately to the study of the Renaissance masters. She then refined her technique by attending the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, realizing her immense love for art.

In her research she dedicates herself mainly to the figurative, preferring oil on canvas painting. She has a great appreciation for the works of the artist Fernando Carcupino, whose knowledge will influence her stylistically in her career.

From her first appearances in exhibitions and competitions she obtained immediate recognition from the public and critics. Her works are found today in public and private collections.

She was among the participants of the XIV edition of the Florence Biennale in Florence (2023).

She is figurative and prefers flowers, figures, still lifes and landscapes.
